Welcome

When your young person is struggling, it can leave you feeling worried, exhausted, and unsure of what else to try. You may be noticing anxiety, withdrawal, school refusal, emotional outbursts, friendship difficulties, or increasing conflict at home, and despite your best efforts, conversations can end in tears, anger, or silence.

I offer compassionate, practical counselling for young people and families, helping adolescents feel understood, supported, and more confident in navigating life’s challenges. I also support parents and carers who want to reconnect with their young person without escalating conflict or emotional distance.

I support young people experiencing:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • School and university stress

  • School refusal and disengagement

  • Friendship and relationship difficulties

  • Neurodivergence

  • Eating and body image challenges

  • Family stress and conflict at home

With many years of experience as a teacher, clinical nutritionist, and counsellor, alongside my lived experience as a parent, I understand the professional and deeply personal sides of supporting young people through difficult times.
